No Laminated Mark sheets for class XII general stream students


AHMEDABAD:
The Gujarat secondary and Higher Secondary Education board in a bid to declare early results for HSC general stream has failed to give laminated mark sheets to the students. The board had for the first time given mark sheets to the student's at least a week after the results were declared. Officials from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board admitted that the mark sheets of General Stream were given without lamination. However, the same for class Xth and fourth semester of HSC Science were laminated. G D Patel, the secretary examination GSHSEB says that the board was aware that the mark sheets were not laminated for general stream students. "We will ensure that if the agency raises the bill, the board will ensure that the bill was not paid to the agency."

 

The Board officials said that there were 5.39 lakh students who have got mark sheets without lamination. The Board officials said that the GSHSEB had even delayed the results. The GSHSEB which was to earlier declare the result on May 25 had delayed it by three days and had declared on May 28. The officials said that the government officials including senior officials were involved in the one year celebrations of the Anandiben Patel Government in the state. The officials were busy making arrangements and also planning to ready material for the publicity of the Government. Senior board officials were also sent to district for the functions of the Chief Ministers.
