Women Institute of Technology popularly known as WIT was established in December 2011 with a sprawling campus spread over acres of serene salubrious expanse in the surrounding with a backdrop of shivalik range of hills on one side and the rippling river song on the other side. The university offers an amicable & suitable ambiance conductive for all academic pursuits. Our university offers 5 undergraduate courses across discipline for the fresher & diploma students. The entire undergraduate course are duly recognised by State Government & affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. WIT, a constituent of Uttarakhand Technical University has almost 750 (Approx.) strong student counts, over 50 dedicated faculty member to support their academic & non-academic activities. It is one of the 4 constituent colleges of Uttarakhand Technichal University that was established in December 2011 with the approval of Uttarakhand Government. The government orders vide 1193 / XLI – 1 / 2011 – 56 / 10, dated 15.11.2011 constitutes the frame of college. Thereby, WIT started functioning w.e.f. September 1st 2012 at Dehradun campus. WIT provides an excellent opportunity exclusively for diploma & B.sc. holder women.
