Suddhananda Engineering & Research Centre (SERC) established in the year 2009 – 10 is located in between the twin city Bhubaneswar & Cuttack in the state of Odisha having excellent communication link. The campus is on a landscaped in a green stretch of land. SERC is a progressive institution in ODISHA, setup to promote the highest standards of technical education in the state. This institute is given not only on making the students academically brilliant but grooming them as true leaders for industry oriented and preparing them for real life corporate world. SERC is where Education meets Enthusiasm. Within just a few years of its establishment, SERC has built an image amongst the aspiring masses which is worth the quality of education it imparts.
Infrastructure :
Central Library : The library activities and services are fully automated using Libsys software. The Library is well equipped with modem facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the form of CDROMs, DVD-ROM, online databases, micro-documents, video cassettes, books, journals, thesis reports, etc.
Hostel : The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls.
IT Infrastructure : SERC has a well equipped centralized computer center to cater to the needs of students and faculty in the Institute. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its tools has revolutionized the entire knowledge delivery system. Technology has entered in a big way the campuses of forward looking institutes like SERC.
Transportation : Since the campus is situated in between the Twin City, the college provides its own buses to the students and staff members in and around different location of Bhubaneswar ,Cuttack, Niali and Nimapara.
Multi Gym : SERC gym has latest equipments aided by trainers and physiotherapists for guided exercise for students and staff.
Anti Ragging : As per Hon'ble Supreme Court's judgement the institute ensures a ragging free environment both inside the academic premises and hostels. An anti-ragging cells under the Chairmanship of Prof. (Dr.) C. R. Panda functions for the prevention of ragging in all its forms.
Anti Women Harassment Cell : As made mandatory by law an anti women harassment cell is functioning in SERC with a senior professor as Chairperson and other senior faculty members as members. The Cell is empowered to look into all forms of harassment against women and recommend appropriate actions.
Yoga : Holding of regular yoga sessions and meditation practices are also a feature to encourage students for developing their individual talent and health.
Food Court : Well maintained food-court caters to the student community members of the faculty, staff and visitors. For those who want a change, a variety of hygienic food facilities are available on the campus.
ATM : An extension counter of the Oriental Bank of Commerce & Canara Bank is functioning within the campus with ATM facility. It also supports students in availing financial assistance for their study.
