Roorkee College of Engineering (RCE) was established in 2010 by a distinguished group having experience of more than two decades of running technical institutions. Though Roorkee is the hub of Engineering Education with several top leading internationally known institutions namely IIT, CBRI, NIH, IRI etc. yet emphasis of RCE has been to provide high quality education to the regional aspirants in general but to poor rural population in particular. RCE is provided with top class updated infrastructure, highly educated and experienced Faculty, Wi-Fi enabled campus, top computerized Library, well furnished hostels for both boys and girls and due sports facilities. Keeping in view the institute industry interaction for major placement objective significant emphasis is laid on personality development, presentation skills, industrial visits, seminar and projects.

Recognizing the qualities RCE has been honoured by several awards by top leading organisations e.g. “Best Placement Award- 2015”, Best Engineering College-2014”. “Ranked Amongst Top 40 Engineering College of India”. To motivate the students meritorious scholarships are also provided to the students. The efforts of RCE Administration are continuously going on to take RCE to higher and higher heights.
