It is located in sprawling campus over 62 Acres of Land. Rao Bahadur Y.Mahabaleshwarappa Engineering College has grown to one of the reputed Engineering Colleges in Karnataka and has contributed thousands of engineers to the society who have carved name for themselves in various fields in India and abroad

Objectives of RYMEC

• Increase the pass % by 10% every year
• Obtain at least one rank every year in each department
• More thanTwenty five students represent university / State in sports&Games
• To achieve at least 2 to 5% placement in each branch every year
•  Facilitate in providing industrial training for at least 2 to 5% of students in each branch every year

Training & Placement:

An independent Training & Placement Cell is functional in the institute since 2001-2002. The training & Placement Cell is headed by Dr. Havinal Veerabadhrappa who has more than 22 years of teaching/Industry experience. In addition to Placement Officer, Mr.Vinay Gadigi, Asst. Placement Officer having more than 4 years of Industry experience supports the activities of Training & Placement Cell. The training & placement cell is supported with an exclusive 500 seats air conditioned auditorium & 150 seat air conditioned conference hall with LCD projector, good audio system & Wireless internet system. The Training & Placement Cell houses exclusive independent rooms for Group discussion & Interviews.

In order to improve the performance of students & probability of success of students in the campus interviews, the T&PC enhances the employability skills of the students by conducting specialized training in mathematical skills, aptitude skills, analytical skills, communication skills, soft skills etc. The recruitment training is conducted by in-house trainers & from the professional trainers from corporate world.
