The Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh College of Pharmacy Amethi was established in the year 2008. College offers 4 year full time Bachelor in Pharmacy & Master in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) course. It is recognized from both governing bodies & approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) institute & is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, located in Amethi, the college works under a private management. Mission: The mission of Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh College of Pharmacy is purported to strive for improving the health care system throughout the world & to give access of pharmaceutical care to the sick & needy. To achieve this mission the students are being inculcated with a strong foundation of knowledge essential to the pharmacy profession. Eligibility:

For B.Pharmacy:

• 10 + 2 with any science stream (PCB / PCM) for B.Pharmacy course.
• Duration = 4 years degree programme

For M.Pharmacy:

• 60% marks in B. Pharmacy required for M. Pharmacy course.
• Duration = 2 years degree programme

Admission through Entrance Examination:

• Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U. P. Board or (10 + 2) standard from other Boards with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics / Bio – Technology / Computer Science / Biology are eligible for admission to 1st year of B.Pharmacy course offered by private colleges / Institutions of U.P.
• Candidates who have passed 2 year Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) from institutions recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in Pharmacy are only eligible for admission to 2nd year of B.Pharmacy.

Admissions under NRI / Management Quota: The admissions are available under NRI Seats / Management Quota as per norms of G.B. Technical University / Government of Uttar Pradesh

Direct admission on vacant seats at institution / college level: The eligibility criteria for direct admission on seats remaining vacant in 1st year after entrance examination counselling shall be such as may be notified from time to time.

Note: The Academic Council shall have power to amend or repeal the eligibility criteria laid down at clause [A] [B] & [C], as per the guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education (A. I. C. T. E.).

Admission Procedure:

For B.Pharmacy / M.Pharmacy: Merit based on qualifying examination conduct by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).

Facilities:

Library: The library has a collection of about 4250 books & some CDs with multiple copies of text books under more than 237 titles. Many national, international journals & few newspapers are subscribed. Photocopy facility is also available. It is also envisaged to network the library with other national & international libraries digitally. It is also provided with reprographic services & high speed internet connection with numerous terminals thereby assisting the faculty & students to acquire knowledge through sophisticated means.

Hostel: The hostel provides hygienic & delicious food to the students. The quality of the food in ensured by qualified and experienced catering personnel. A medical supervisor is available at call to provide any medical aid required for the residents of the hostel. In short, the students feel the care and comfort while staying in the hostels. It is the kind of home - away from home experience they used to seek.

Sports: A well - established playground & a gym inside the campus helps the students to build up the physical mite of the users of these facilities. The students are trained in various outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, etc. & indoor games such as chess, table tennis etc.

Placements:

The College takes it as its sacred duty to its students in getting right placements in the Industry & regulatory bodies. It also recommends students for admission to higher studies in India & abroad. Towards the end of every academic year, we will try to call several Indian & MNCs to conduct Campus Interviews to absorb students of this College into their organization.
