Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences is an autonomous institute of Government of Karnataka. Over the years, the college has become one of the renowned medical institutes of the state.  It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). The college is known for imparting high standards of education in medicine at undergraduate level. The candidates qualified in 10+2 / equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English are eligible. The candidate aged should be between 17 years of age to 23 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
