The College has an inbuilt Animal House with standards as per guidelines of Committee for the Purpose of Control & Supervision of Experiments on Animals. The college library has wide range of books, periodicals, national & international journals, reference books & educational software & news papers to fulfil the academic needs of the students. For poor students, library also provides book bank facility. The Institute emphasises on practical & industrial training & organise academic tours for students of their respective disciplines in order to enhance their learning through practical experience. The Institute of pharmacy was established in 2008 with 4 year Bachelor course in pharmacy & has been upgraded to college of pharmacy in the year 2008 offering a 4 year degree course in pharmacy. The college will be affiliated to U.P.T.U. Lucknow & will be approved by All India Council for Technical Education, (AICTE) New Delhi. Regulations to B.Pharmacy course & syllabus will be in accordance with the rules of the U.P.T.U Lucknow. College of Pharmacy is today one of the best pharmacy institution in the country in terms of laboratory facilities & faculty.

Mission: To contribute to the national programme of providing trained graduate pharmaceutical manpower through prescribed training programmes like B.Pharmacy adequately with professional pharmaceutical education & effective competency to undertake the national task of meeting social & pharmaceutical needs in industrial pharmacy, medical programme & pharmaceutical education & research.

Eligibility:

For B.Pharmacy:

• Candidates with at least 50% marks in 10+2 with PCB / PCM for the Bachelor in Pharmacy Degree & / or 60% marks in D.Pharmacy for admission in the 2nd year of B.Pharmacy Degree are eligible for admission to the B.Pharmacy Programme.
• The reservation for SC / ST / OBC & other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC / ST / OBC & other categories of candidates.

Admission Procedure: 

For B.Pharmacy: College takes admission on the basis of marks obtained in 10 + 2 with PCB / PCM & / or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.

Facilities:

Library: The College has huge library for their students as well as staff also. There are books, journals, encyclopaedia, magazines & extensive archives. Library maintains all standards of AICTE for B.Pharmacy programme. Library subscribes National & International Journals & reputed magazines.

Students of R.K. Pharmacy College have been continuously securing excellent placements with the leading Pharmacy manufacturing companies. Our placement cell is attached from Unichem, Dabur, M.M.P., Machleods etc. Industrial Training & Tour are integral part of the B.Pharmacy curriculum. The industrial tour in 7th semester help the students to be a part of a team & expose to effective management of a collective effort.
