Maharashtra Printing School (Mudran Shala) now named as Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology, was established in the year of 1929 under the auspicious of the Pune Anath Vidyarthi Griha, Pune as a direct outcome of National movement in Industrial Education to provide scientific printing education to the students. The promoters of this school who embarked on this novel experiment had a clear vision of a project before them. The beginning of the school was very small indeed, but now it has developed into a fully fledged printing Institute. Time to time the institute goes on upgrading their syllabus to fulfil the demand of future Printing Industry.
