KK Wagh Women's Polytechnic is established with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (Letter No F 740 – 89 – 159 [E] / E / T / 96 dated 30 – 5 - 1996) under orders from Higher & Technical Education and Employment Department, Government of Maharashtra (No PEC 3396 / 7479 / TE dated 24 – 7 - 1996) with effect from academic year 1996 - 97. The Polytechnic is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai as well as AICTE & DTE. The curriculum framed by the Board of Technical Education & is implemented in the institution. The examinations are conducted by the board and successful completion of the course the board awards the diploma certificate.
