IIT Gandhinagar offers 4-year BTech and MTechprogrammes in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Materials Science and Engineering. It also offers 2-year MSc programmes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Cognitive Science, and a 2-year MA programme in Society and Culture. IIT Gandhinagar is committed to promoting excellence in science, technology, as well as the Humanities and Social Sciences and to the development of rounded and nuanced minds. Construction of the initial phase of IITGN's permanent campus on the banks of the Sabarmati river near Palaj, Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, is currently in its advanced stages. The Institute plans to move to its permanent campus in the second half of 2015. |
