Hindustan Institute of Management & Computer Studies is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, & affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. It imparts quality education in the field of management & IT to meet the growing needs of industry & in turn society. The Institute, a constituent unit of SGI, born in 1997 & housed in a modern building built on an area of 29 acres located between Agra & Mathura on NH–2. Eligibility:

For M.B.A.:

• Graduation with Min. 60% OR Min. 60% in Graduation with Qualified UPSEE-11, MAT score, CAT Score.
• Rank in SEE-UPTU
• Rank in CAT/ MAT
• Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks
• Intake = 120 Seats

For M.C.A.:

• Rank in SEE-UPTU
• Graduation with 50% marks & 10+2 with Maths
• BCA, B.Sc. (IT / CS) with 50% marks & Maths
• Intake = 90 Seats

For M.C.A. (Lateral Entry):

• Rank in SEE – UPTU
• BCA, B.Sc. (IT / CS) with 50% marks & Maths in 10 + 2 / Graduation

Registration: Students seeking admission through the Management quota or against anticipated lapsed seats; (& meeting the eligibility criteria as stated above), may register with the Admission Cell along with a demand draft of Rs. 30,000/- drawn in favour of the College where admission is being sought, payable at Agra & appear in an assessment test & await their turn. The admission will be announced as per laid down procedure.

Facilities:

Library: The libraries with their repertoire of management literature are the focal points of the institutes. The fully computerized libraries offer 27 different types of learning media with a collection of over 59,245 volumes including the most recent publications in diverse areas of business, economics & management.

Hostel: The College Management & Administration are quite aware that student’s hostel located inside the campus would facilitate better participation by the students in the co-curricular & extra-curricular activities, even long after the college working hours. Hostel accommodation is allotted to 100% of the (girls) applicants. To the boys, prior allotment on 1st come 1st serve basis is done. So immediately after the admission is granted the students should apply to the Chief Warden of the HIMCS College seeking hostel accommodation. Separate decent on campus accommodation for boys & girls, in clean & hygienic ambiance amidst green surroundings with 24 hrs electric & water supply are available. Students are welcome to visit & witness the facilities for their satisfaction. On the average 40% of the students stay in hostels; about 25% with their parents & relatives & in private rented accommodation in the adjoining city habitats.

Each of these hostel has a Common Room equipped with facilities like Television (with DTH facility) & indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom Board, Chess, Badminton, Basketball etc. & a gymnasium. Hostels are having 24 hrs electric & water supply arrangement. The 1000 KVA standby generator & water treatment plants ensure the continuous supplies of electricity & water. Drinking water is supplied after treatment through R.O. (Reverse Osmosis) plant to make it potable; however underground water is pumped directly for use in bathing & other purposes.

Placements:

More than 90% placement happened out of the eligible & interested students in the past successive 5 years now. And the average compensation offered is also increasing every year. Strong emphasis on academics, personalized attention towards individual students’ soft skill needs & development of winning attitude & competencies supported by a very aggressive placement department which believes in inviting more corporate to the institute each year with a focus on higher salary packages.
