HIMT college of Pharmacy is established in the year of 2005 by Shanti Education Society, Registered under society act 21 of 1860. The campus has been beautifully landscaped with extensive greenery & plantation in a pollution free environment. As it completes its 9 years we feel proud to achieve reputation & goodwill in the field of Pharmacy. We have a well established Department offering the courses of D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy & M.Pharmacy (Pharmceutics & Pharmcology). The intake of students for D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy & M. Pharmacy courses are 60, 100 & 15 respectively. The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmcy Council of India (PCI) & it is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. We have well educated staff from premier universities with experience in India & Abroad. Our college Principal, Dr Ravi Malhotra , is educated from one of Prestigious University DIPSAR under University of Delhi with 27 years of experience in India & abroad. The Institute has on its panel, a galaxy of reputed academicians & professionals who visit the campus regularly to deliver lectures, share their experience & deliberate upon latest developments in Pharmaceutical field, which results in fruitful interactions. A number of seminars, workshops & symposia are organized in the College. The staff members regularly attend training programme / seminars to keep them abrest of latest developments in Pharmacy profession. Scientific papers are published in reputed journals periodically & are presented at National & International conferences by staff members. The college environment inculcates essential values like constructive competition, honesty & dedication towards their profession among the students. At HIMT College of Pharmacy, academics, discipline, dedication & determination move like 4 wheels of a chariot.

The college has adequate infrastructure as per A.I.C.T.E. & P.C.I. norms. The various laboratories in the college are well equipped with latest equipments required to provide the best hands on training to each & every budding Pharmacist. Besides, the college has facilities such as sophisticated CIS LAB.(Central Instrument Lab), computer Lab. with WI - FI & language lab. Facilities where the students gain practical exposure & a realistic approach to become a full fledged Professional Pharmacist & become acquainted with latest developments in Pharmaceutical field. Also, the college owns a Medicinal Plants Garden with a diverse variety of medicinal plants in it. Our students are provided with regular summer training programmes & factory visits to have practical experience / exposure.

Eligibility:

For B.Pharmacy:

• Candidates must have passed intermediate Examination of UP Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board / University securing minimum 50% (45% SC / ST) with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects are Mathematics, Bio - Technology, Computer Science, Biology.
• Intake = 100 seats
• Admission to 85% seats in B.Pharmacy course is made through UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). Rest 15% is management/ NRI quota.

For B.Pharmacy 2nd year (Lateral Entry): Candidates who have passed 2 / 3  years diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in UP with minimum 60% marks are eligible for admission to 2nd year of B.Pharmacy.

For M.Pharmacy:

• Candidates must have passed 4 years degree in Pharm from any recognized board / University securing minimum 60% (General / OBC) & 55% (SC / ST).
• Intake = 18 seats each
• Admission to 85% seats in B.Pharmacy course is made through UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). Rest 15% is management / NRI quota.

Facilities: 

Library: The Library, known as the knowledge Resource Centre (KRC), is the heart of the Academic Centre at HIMT College of Pharmacy. The Library with its modern collection of information services plays a vital role in the intellectual pursuits of HCP academic community. Library holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books journals, databases, audio - visual materials,CDs, e - journals, annual reports of top companies, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. The Library subscribes print journals through various databases.

Sports: Indoor games activities like Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Gymnasium etc. are provided by the institute. Outdoor sports:-HCP is having outdoor sports facilities for Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton etc. The spacious grounds of the College are maintained for this purpose.

The Corporate Relations Cell at HIMT Group of Institutions gives utmost importance to help its students in getting suitable placements after the successful completion of their studies. The institute is regularly arranging training & placement for B.Pharmacy / M.Pharmacy students in collaboration with the Institute's Career Management Cell.
