In 1999, Akola District has been divided into 2 separate districts for administrative reason and separate Washim District has been formed. The institute is located on Risod Road Washim on a plot of 20 ht. of land. This institute has administrative building, workshop building and staff quarters & boys hostel with capacity of 176 students inside the premises in addition of ample playground & healthy atmosphere. As per the policy of State Government seats are reserved for girl’s students and the number of girls students are increasing day by day. The administrative approval for the construction of girl’s hostel is given by the Government and the construction of girl’s hostel is likely to be started in near future. Institute has qualified staff. Every department has equipped labs. In addition to this institute has good enriched library which includes text books, reference books, technical magazines and newspapers. More infrastructural development is likely to be done at this institute in the coming future.
