Government Polytechnic, Bramhapuri was established in the month of September 1985 in a makeshift arrangement. Space was provided by Food Corporation of India through their go down. From a humble beginning of just 30 students in Civil Engineering branch, the Institute has progressed to nine branches (Shift - 1 & Shift - 2) with total intake of 540 students per year. The Institute was opened in rural area of Chandrapur District with the aim of imparting technical education to the students from rural background that otherwise deprived of quality technical education & the Institute has been extremely successful in bringing the students from village setup in to the main stream of nation's progress. With each passing year the Institute has developed into an ideal teaching temple where the faculty members are dedicated towards their job & feel proud when their students pass out with flying colours.

Vision: The institute is to provide quality technician who will be able to cope up with rapidly changing technology & caters to the need of the industries.

Mission: It providing highly competent technician with the help of highly motivated faculty & available resources. The focus will be on constant updating of desirable competencies.
