The Krishna Memorial Trust was registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882 on 22nd February, 1988 with one of the major objectives to run, establish, promote, develop and assist the provision of education through universities, colleges, research Laboratories or institutes existing solely for educational purpose. The board of trustees and advisors include leading educationists and scientists of international repute. In the year 2008 the board of trustees decided to promote and develop a research institute in the field of pharmaceutical sciences for the promotion and development of pharmaceutical industry and the healthcare sector in the fast developing Uttarakhand region of North India. The aim of the institution will be to provide highly trained professionals to Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Biomedical industry and the healthcare sector in the country specially in Uttarakhand.
