Badrun Nisa Degree College (Estd. 2000) is run by Awadh Muslim Educational & Welfare Society. The College is named after Badrun Nisa, wife of Mr. Ilyas Azmi, the sitting M.P. from Shahabad Constituency of Distt. Hardoi, U.P., India. Mrs. Badrun Nisa was a sophisticated lady & was always keen to open the educational institutions for imparting knowledge to the socially weaker & backward people especially Rural Education. But before she could materialize her desire, she expired on 18 Oct. 1980. It is her memory that the Badrun Nisa Degree College has been established. Thanks to Mr. Ilyas Azmi (M.P.) & Mr. Arshad Ahmad Siddiqui, Chairman Red Crescent Society of India & also the President of the College that they chose Shahabad for establishing such a seat of learning. Badrun Nisa Degree College is situated at the heart of the city, Shahabad adjacent to the main bus stop at the distance of 3 k.m. from Anjhi Shahabad Railway Station. The College spreads in the area of more than 20 acres surrounded by lush green areas & mango orchards. Various educational programmes i.e. in Science & Humanities are being run since its inception which is mentioned here. Year (2007-08) M.B.A., M.A. (Geography & Urdu), M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Ed., B.Ed., BTC., B.A., B.Sc. B.Sc. & B.Com. etc.

It has a beautiful campus with well ventilated & beautiful lecture rooms. The College has got well equipped science labs along with computer lab. The Management is very keen to start Post Graduate classes in almost all the subjects. The Management is also fully aware of the fact that only graduation / Post Graduation is not sufficient for meeting the challenges of the everyday changing world. Therefore, it has been decided to open the Vocational, Technical & Professional courses. B.Sc. – Agriculture, Computer Science, Nursing & Ph.D. etc. The college has got a newly constructed guest house Girls & Boys hostel Specially, We have given excellent result since it the foundation of college for which our well qualified & dedicated teaching staff deserves praise and appreciation.
