Yeshwant Rural Education Society (Yeshwant Gramin Shikshan Sanstha) was founded with an objective to cater to the needs of rural area population in terms of educational facilities especially in remote villages of Wardha District. The concept of society was conceived by Shri Bapuraoji Deshmukh, a close associate & a true follower of Mahatma Gandhi & Ex -Member of Parliament. He established this Society with a firm belief that “Teaching is a Mission & not a Profession!” in the year of 1959. Envisaging education in the right perspective Bapuraoji Deshmukh, called “Daaji” by the people of Wardha out of love & regards & established many schools & colleges under the aegis of Yeshwant Rural Education Society to make the education within the reach of the poorest of the poor. After his sad demise in the year of 1990, his elder son Shri Sureshbhau Deshmukh took over the reins as Chairman of Yeshwant Rural Education Society. Being the great son of great father Shri Sureshbhau Deshmukh ensures that academic objectives are seriously pursued & effectively implemented.
