Keeping this in mind, Aryabhatt College of Engineering & Technology was set-up in under the aegis of Aryabhatt Charitable Trust, Delhi. This college is located at Baghpat - Meerut road at about 13 km away from Baghpat. The college is approved All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi & is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, NOIDA. Formerly this college was affiliated to U.P. Technical University / Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow (Code-305) & is offering B.Tech. & M.B.A. courses. Another college, Aryabhatt College of Management & Technology was setup in 2008 by the same trust located in the adjoining campus offering MBA course. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. Formerly this college was affiliated to UP Technical University / Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow (Code-405). Aryabhatt Charitable Trust is a National level registered trust with its head office at Delhi. The trust was established in 2006, aiming for quality education.

Eligibility:

For B.Tech: 10 + 2 with 50% marks in PCM (45% for SC / ST).

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry): 3 year engineering diploma recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. or equivalent with min. 45% marks (40% SC / ST) or B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST).

For M.B.A.: Graduation with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC / ST). 

Admission Procedure:

For B.Tech: Programme would be done on the basis of rank obtained in SEE - MTU: 2012 conducted by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. Management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counselling based on the merit of SEE - MTU: 2012 / AIEEE rank & merit in qualifying examination.

For B.Tech NRI Seats: 5% of the management seats would be available for NRI candidates. NRI seats would be filled up as per AICTE & University norms i.e. by NRIs who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from an institute situated outside India provided such qualification is considered equivalent to 10 + 2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Passed qualifying examination from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

For B.Sc.: Passed B.Sc. Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) & passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that these students shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics

Facilities:

Sports: College provides adequate infra – structural support for sport. Students are encouraged to participate in activities, which would provide them with physical fitness. Games like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton is played in the campus. Students are also encouraged to participate in tournaments & sports - meet. The college has excellent outdoor sports facilities for Cricket, Football, Tennis & Badminton. Playing one game is compulsory for every student of the college. The college’s Indoor Games Centre is well – equipped with Table – Tennis, Caroms & Chessboards etc.

Placements:

The curriculum provides extensive industrial training in industrial & business organizations anywhere in the country. The main objective of this training is to expose the students to practical applications of the knowledge acquired by them during the course of Engineering & Management Studies. This also gives confidence & helps in all round growth & development in real life. Industry interaction makes studies more pragmatic to real life applications. The college endeavours to provide regular industrial visits to students even during the Engineering Studies to broaden their horizon of knowledge. The college prefers (emphasizes) that all students should engaged in the specific industrial training projects, so that at the end of the training, the students are aware of the application of the structure & operations of industrial organizations, implication & future prospects of their stream of specialization training also prepares them to cope up with the real job problems.
