About Us:
It was 1936 when our founder late Sh Dev Raj started the show. It was the business of Dhoop Making. Krishna Sudama Dhoop brand was world renowned trademark of the concern. It was popular in India and foreign market.
We had an extra nerve for modernization which We used to implement various simple techniques in day to day solving the problem. In 1948, he started a printing press to support the Dhoop industry. Within year it was regarded as one of the biggest press of the area. In 1966, company diversified small workshop into a big one and started manufacturing the Rice Mill Machinery. Rice industry in those days was based on traditionally old machine but we modernized it. Course Offered

Hostel: There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Accommodation provided to the students may be on a room sharing or dormitory basis. Spacious rooms with attached bath are available for both Boys and Girls.

Library: Library is the backbone of any academic institution. The library at DTC has a very rich collection of relevant books and journals. The total collection of the library is more than 15,000. The library services at DTC are provided to students, staff & faculty members for updating their knowledge and supporting the research and teaching / learning activities. Keeping in view the fast changes in technology, the knowledge base of the library is updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of text books, reference books, reports, proceedings, abstracts & indexes, encyclopedias, data books, standards (National & International) Journals & database on CD-ROM. Apart from adding the new literature, the basic literature is also procured for the new programmes along with current one. The facilities like Photocopy, Scanning etc. are provided to the students on payment basis within the premises of the library.
Medical Facility: The institute has a dispensary on campus to meet the first-aid and routine medical needs of the students & staff. Institute has tied up with leading medical facilitators to provide the consultation to the members of faculty/staff and student on weekly basis. In case of emergency, patients are taken to reputed medical centers
Transport: College is providing Free College Buses to pick and drop students from near by Village and Town surrounding Appx. 60 km covering mainly Zira, Makhu, Mallanwala, Jalalabad, Guru Har Sahai, Mamdot, Ferozepur City and Cantt, Faridkot, Talwandi etc.
Training & Placement:
The goal of Training & Placement Cell is to provide employment opportunities & world class training to PEC students in leading organizations The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’. In order to accomplish ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’, it organizes technical talks and national seminars to provide a platform for the budding engineers to interact with professionals from various industries. It encourages visits to the industries by the college students. It arranges for industrial problems to be worked on by students as part of their projects. It also takes suggestions from members of industry regarding designing/changing of curriculum. The college has signed MOUs with many industrial organizations and industrial chambers. Technical paper presentation contests are held in collaboration with industries to discuss new developments and trends.
Students are provided regular industrial visits to provide best industrial exposure. Industrial visits provide the opportunity to students to meet company officials and staff at common place and gather all possible information regarding the functioning of their organization. Industrial visits give them a practical exposure of what they have learned during their class room teaching. After industrial visit, the students submit a report and present the same in the classroom.
