ICM provides international Students a direct pathway to year two at the University of Manitoba. The ICM pathway provides a smooth transition into the U of M. University designed programs, taught by qualified instructors on the main U of M Campus, ensure that our students have the very best preparation for the demands of higher education in Canada. ICM students are treated like university students and, with the added benefits of smaller classes, students receive more personalized attention in a dynamic and supportive environment that better equips them for life at University. Campus Facilities:

 

Bison Athletic Facilities: The university's athletic programs include a versatile facility that has a six-lane water pool and diving area, two weight training areas, two recently renovated 8,000 square foot gymnasiums, one recently renovated 6,900 square foot gymnasium, squash and racquetball courts, an underground indoor track, and a dry sauna.

 

The Max Bell Centre on campus consists of two parts - an athletic field house with two indoor tracks and an ice hockey arena. The infield of the track is an excellent venue for tennis, soccer, baseball, volleyball and basketball. The ice hockey arena is excellent for hockey, spongee and broomball. Investors Group Athletic Centre features a fully retractable seating area, an athletic therapy unit, high quality acoustics and many other attractions. The building is designed for volleyball, basketball, and rhythmic gymnastics. The Investors Group Athletic Centre is home to the University of Manitoba Bison men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams and the Canadian national women's volleyball team. The gym floor area is made up of three international-size basketball and volleyball courts. University Stadium consists of outdoor track and field facilities with a 400-metre, 8-lane track, hurdles and sprinting area, steeplechase, discus, high jump, pole vault, hammer, shot put, long and triple jump and javelin areas.

 

Libraries: Numerous libraries on campus including Archives and Special Collections, Engineering, Law, Music, Sciences and Technology, Agriculture and General libraries.

 

Stores: Computer and Bookstore, Pharmacy, Post Office, ATM's, Health Clinic and Counselling Services. Variety of food stores and restaurants.

 

Computers and Connection: Numerous computer labs, laptop ports and wireless network throughout campus. ICM students receive a University of Manitoba Username and Password for wireless access.
