Frederick University operates from two campuses, one in Nicosia and another in Limassol.

Frederick University was established after a decision by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus in September 2007. The University, responding to the challenge set by the relevant law in 2005 that allowed for the establishment of private universities in Cyprus submitted an application and after a thorough and meticulous evaluation by the Evaluation Committee for Private Universities was amongst the first private universities to be granted license of operation. The establishment of the university was achieved following the forty-two year successful route of Frederick Institute of Technology, an accredited institute of higher education which is still operating.

Frederick University started operating from the fall 2007 academic semester with six Schools.

Scholarship and Financial Assistance:

General information about scholarships and financial assistance schemes available to students. Frederick University awards scholarships based on academic merit or other criteria to selected home and international students at the beginning or during their studies. The University's & aim is to support and award academic effort and excellence as much as possible but also to support and facilitate the continuation of studies of students that face severe financial difficulties. Every year, a significant percentage of the University's budget is allocated to providing the funds for such student support.
