 About Us:

 

Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, has been a leading postsecondary institution in Northern Ontario since its first classes were held in 1967. The College has a vibrant community of more than 14,000 learners – over 4,500 students in 80 full-time programs, plus over 9,500 students in almost 900 part-time courses/programs. It offers programming at three campuses and serves a student population of that is reflective of the rich diversity of today’s global workplaces.

Programs:

 

In this section, you will find everything you need to plan for an education that will help you go places. Whether you are graduating from high school, starting a second career, or looking to upgrade your skills, Cambrian College has a learning pathway for you. The College offers approximately 90 full-time programs that can provide you with the skills you need to be competitive in today’s global workplaces. Cambrian also has specialized programming for those who are interested in corporate training, co-operative education, or dual credits that can provide secondary students with both high school and college credits.

 

Cambrian Alumni and other college and university graduates who want to add marketable job skills to their resume can access a number of graduate certificate programs, and those who are interested in further study on a part-time basis can access over 900 continuing education programs courses and seminars.

 

Cambrian offers over 80 full-time programs. Diploma programs are usually two or three academic years in length, and certificate programs are generally one academic year in duration. (Two semesters = 1 academic year).

Admission Requirements: To register for Academic Upgrading you must be:

  • A resident of Ontario
  • Eligible to work in Ontario
  • 19 years of age or older (18 years of age - interview required).
