Graduation Policies:

Arkansas State University confers degrees and offers graduation ceremonies three times a year, in May, August and December. It is possible you will complete your degree requirements prior to the conferral date. If so, your degree will be conferred at the next available conferral date. You are welcome to participate in the graduation ceremony closest to your date after you complete your degree requirements.

All students are required to complete an Intent to Graduate form, which will be emailed to them, and submit the graduation fee ($65 for graduate-level, $45 for undergraduate-level), regardless of intent to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students will submit the Cap and Gown Form to order their regalia if participating in the graduation ceremony. Students will be given the option to walk at the graduation ceremony; however, if final grades are not in at the time of graduation, a diploma will not be distributed that day. Diplomas will be mailed to students once final grades are in and verified. Students not participating in the graduation ceremony should please notify ASU, and their diplomas will be mailed within the first business week following the posting of grades. Please ensure your correct mailing address is on file.
