About Us:

 

MP PET 2018 Admissions is the process of granting admissions to the candidates of the state of Madhya Pradesh in the engineering undergraduate courses (B.E./B.Tech). Through the process of admissions, candidates would be given the choice to take admission in the desired course and college based on their performance in JEE Main 2018. The only criteria of admissions will be state wise and all India rank in JEE Main 2018. Hence if you are interested in taking admission in the state in engineering courses, you are required to apply for JEE and attempt the same. Based on your ranking, you shall be judged for admission by state’s own counseling committee. Read the following article for complete information on the exam and its related aspects.

Eligibility:

 

An eligibility criterion is the set of terms and conditions that a candidate must follow and satisfy in order to become eligible for the exam. We have presented to you the following terms to read and refer:

  • He must satisfy all the terms mentioned there in the JEE Main 2018 Eligibility Criteria.
  • Candidate must belong to the state of Madhya Pradesh i.e. MP domicile.
  • It is required to pass class XII or any equivalent exam as recognized by state or central exam board.
  • Allowed subject combination in the qualifying exam is Physics, Chemistry and Math.
  • Minimum percentage aggregate required in the exam is 55%.
  • At the time of applying for the exam, he must not exceed the age of 21 years.
  • SC/ST candidates are relaxed however by 5 years i.e. 26 years.

Selection Process:

 

For admissions, candidates shall be selected on the basis of JEE Main 2018 AIR. However, class XII marks will be considered as well along with JEE score to allot ranks. This shall be done in the ratio of 40:60.
