Gujarat Common entrance Test (CET) is conducted by The Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat and it has assigned The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to hold CET for admission into various Medical, Engineering and Pharmacy Courses in the state of Gujarat.  GUJCET Exam is only open for the candidates who belong to the state of Gujarat. This common entrance test is considered as one of the toughest exam that candidates have to face for their upcoming future. This exam is one of the best choices for the students to get Gujarat’s top institutes for engineering, medical and pharmacy. Every year a large number of application forms are distributed in all over the state. Large numbers of students apply for GUJCET every year for admission in to these courses.

Gujarat CET Affiliated Colleges:

A long list of Gujarat CET affiliated engineering colleges, medical & pharmacy colleges available in Gujarat which are being granted to students on the basis of Gujarat common entrance test merit rank. 

Gujarat CET Pattern:

Candidates who have dream to be a part of Gujarat Common Entrance Test.  It is a written test of 3 hours. There are 4 sections in test - Physics, chemistry, Maths, Biology.  Keep concentrate on Gujarat CET Exam Pattren.

Courses Offered: 

Following are the degree courses offered through Gujarat Common Entrance Test (Gujarat CET) conducted by The Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat as one of the engineering entrance examinations in India through common entrance test CET.

Eligibility:

i) Candidates who have passed Higher secondary certificate examination science stream conducted by the Gujarat secondary and higher secondary education board, Gandhinagar or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing and eligible for appearing in the examination of std. XII science stream/ candidates going to appear in examination of std. XII science stream in the very year in which the candidate has filled in application form for common entrance test.

ii) Candidates who have passed std. XII science stream examination conducted by the Central Board of secondary education, New Delhi through the recognized school situated in the state of Gujarat or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of std. XII science stream through recognized school/candidates going to appear in examination of std. XII science stream in the very year in which the candidates have filled in application form for common entrance test

iii) Candidates who have passed std. XII science stream examination conducted by the council for the Indian school certificate examination, New Delhi through the recognized school situated in the state of Gujarat or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of std. XII science stream through recognized school/candidates going to appear in examination of std. XII science stream in the very year in which the candidates have filled in application form for common entrance test

iv) Candidates who are the heirs of the officers/employees who are basically from the state of Gujarat but performing their duties in other states as the officers/ employees of Central/state government, Military Forces or the Board/Corporation governed by the Central/state government, who have passed std. XII science stream examination conducted by the Higher secondary education board situated in the state in which they are performing duties or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of std. XII science stream or the candidates going to appear in examination of std. XII science stream in the very year in which the candidates have filled in application form for Common Entrance Test.

v) Other candidates who are eligible to get admission in the said courses as per the admission rules framed from time to time by Joint admission committee for professional courses, admission building, L.D. college of engineering campus, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad-380015 for admission in engineering and degree/diploma Pharmacy course and centralized admission committee, C/o Dean, B.J. medical college, Ahmedabad-380016 for admission in medical course, who have passed std. XII science stream examination or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of std. XII science stream or the candidates going to appear in the said examination

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be on the basis of entrance test. The test will be based on the syllabus of Std XI & XII. There will be 4 sections in the test. Each section will be of 1 hour. There will be 40 questions in each section. The various sections are- Chemistry, Biology, Physics, mathematics. Each question will be of 1 mark.

Date of exam: may 2018

Declaration of result: may/june 2018
