About AP EAMCET 2018:


Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (being conducted on behalf of APSCHE) A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test - 2018 (AP EAMCET-2018) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher Education EC.2 Dept. Dt: 28-07-2011 & amendment) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada for entry into the first year of the following professional courses offered for the academic year 2018-2019 in the State of Andhra Pradesh.


The exam is conducted by JNTU Kakinada. The entrance test is conducted for engineering, medical and architect aspirants, who aspire to pursue professional courses in these streams at state colleges of Andhra Pradesh. AP EAMCET 2018 - AP EAMCET 2018 (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada for candidates who wish to pursue engineering courses across several state engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will announce AP Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2018, which will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on  2018. Till 2014, EAMCET was a common and combined exam for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states, and it is only from 2015 that Andhra Pradesh conducts its separate exam - AP EAMCET, whereas Telanagana conducts TS EAMCET separately for its respective states.


AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • The Exam Pattern of AP EAMCET 2018 will be based on three subjects - Chemistry, Physics and   Mathematics.
  • AP EAMCET 2018 will have a total of 160 questions, from which 80 will be of Mathematics, 40 of Chemistry and the last 40 of Physics.
  • All these questions will be objective type.
  • Each question will carry one mark.

Eligibility AP EAMCET 2018:

  • Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET-2018:

a) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders

b) Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended

c) For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (MPC), B.Tech (Dairy), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc [Commercial Agriculture and Business Management (CA & BM)] courses:

 

i. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana

(OR)

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana

ii. In the case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

iii. In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech (FS & T) and B.Sc (CA & BM), candidates should have candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions

iv. In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech (FST) and B.Sc (CA&BM), Candiates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions

  • B.V.Sc & AH/ B.Sc (Ag) / B.Sc (Hort) / B.F.Sc/B.Tech (FS&T) / B.Sc (CA&BM) Courses: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:

With any two the subjects:

 

a) B.Sc (Ag): Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture

b) B.Sc (Hort): Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture

c) B.V.Sc & A.H.: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences

d) B.F.Sc: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Vocational Course in Fishery Sciences

e) B.Tech (Food Science): Mathematics, Physical Sciences; or Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences

f) B.Sc (CA & BM): Mathematics, Physical Sciences; or Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences

 

Note:

i) Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in AP EAMCET -2018 (AM Category)

ii) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission

  • MBBS /BDS Courses (as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07 July 2011):

i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) /BioTechnology at the qualifying examination

In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC classes the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology)/BioTechnology

ii) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission

  • BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Courses:

i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject

ii) a) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission

b) There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS

  • B.Pharm Course (Remaining 50% of the seats):

i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto

ii) Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit

  • B.Tech (Bio-Technology) Course:

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana shall be eligible

  • Pharm D Course (50% seats for MPC and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):

i. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training

ii. Candidates should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subject specified taken together in the qualifying examination

iii. The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the above course

Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who completes who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnshed with 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board


How to Apply AP EAMCET 2018:


AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form: Application Form of AP EAMCET 2018 will be available in online mode only. The Application Form will tentatively be available by the 4th week of january 2018. It’s imperative that candidates applying for AP EAMCET 2018 that they check every detail thoroughly before finally submitting the Application Form of AP EAMCET 2018.


AP EAMCET 2018 Counseling Procedure:

  • Once the results are declared, candidates are required to choose any one Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2018 Helpline Centre for document verification and option entry.
  • At the stipulated date and time, they have to report for the chosen Helpline Centre only for the verification of certificates and option entry.
  • Candidates have to pay the requisite fees and avail the admission.
  • EAMCET 2018 Seat Allotment will be done on the basis of the scores in AP EAMCET 2018 and Intermediate or 10+2 marks in the ratio 75:25.

  • AP EAMCET 2018 Participating Institutes are the colleges where successful candidates of AP EAMCET 2018 will be given admissions in different engineering courses.
