Vivek College of Education, Bijnor was established in August 2003. During the session 2003 - 04, the college conducted the 1st batch of one year course of B.Ed. in the very 1st year of its existence, college earned a distinguished place for itself for the conduct of academic programmes & richness of supporting activities & university results. The college campus of learning is located on the Moradabad Bijnor state highway within the natural greenery surroundings of the holy river Gangas. The lush green campus with sprawling lawns & playgrounds is aesthetically planned & designed with exquisite facilities to develop congenial environment for the students pursuing their studies far from the daily hustle - bustle of city life. Admission Procedure:

For B.Ed.: The admissions for B.Ed. course of Vivek College of Education Bijnor shall be done by counselling on the basis of the merit list of State Entrance Test conducted by authorized body of Government of UP. Minimum qualification required for applying to the course of B.Ed. is 50% marks obtained in UG from any UGC recognized University or Institution of India or abroad.

For Basic Training Certificate (B.T.C.): The admissions for BTC course of Vivek College of Education Bijnor shall be done by counselling on the basis of the merit list of DIET.

Facilities:

Library: Library of the School has a selection of more than 6315 books of Indian & foreign authors with approximately 3300 titles. There are nearly 12 National & 5 International journals. The library is connected with Internet connection for accessing e - journals & other sites of interest. The library catalogue is accessible on the internet to check the availability of the books on shelf. The library is fully automated with library management software system. There is large number of books in reference section covering a wide range of subjects. This section is augmented regularly with latest arrivals.

Sports: Both indoor & outdoor sports activities are conducted at regular intervals for students to maintain their physical fitness essential for them to perform their best in academics also.
