V.S.B. Educational Trust was founded in the year 2000 by Thiru. V.S. Balsamy, the founder and correspondent of the V.S.B. Group of Institutions. With an interest in promoting, Managing and administrating educational institutions with high academic standards, discipline and to take up and help other allied activities in the field of education. Under the Trust V.S.B. Engineering College was established in the year 2002, and V.S.B College of Engineering Technical Campus in the year 2012. Trust Comprise of the following Trustees.

Thiru V.S. Balsamy is one of the leading luminaries of law. The Correspondent lays emphasis on Hard Work as he strongly believes that, “HARD WORK IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS” and it is taken to be the motto of the Institution. It is noteworthy to mention that he is the recipient of the most venerable award namely “INDIRA GANDHI SADHBAVNA AWARD” for his outstanding individual achievements and distinguished services to the Nation, which was presented on the 87th Birth Anniversary of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi. He has also been honoured with the award “THE BEST HUMANITARIAN AWARD” for the year 2005. V.S.B. College of Engineering Technical Campus is situated in a quiet and favourable location, creating an ultimate learning environment to stimulate academic and individual growth.

Infrastructure :

Language : Effective Communication is significant for managers in the organizations so as to perform the basic functions of management, i.e., Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling.Communication helps managers to perform their jobs and responsibilities. Communication serves as a foundation for planning. All the essential information must be communicated to the managers who in-turn must communicate the plans so as to implement them. Organizing also requires effective communication with others about their job task. Similarly, leaders as managers must communicate effectively with their subordinates so as to achieve the team goals. Controlling is not possible without written and oral communication.The Lab has 66 Pentium-IV work stations plus one server for the teacher. There are two softwares namely English Mastery and Globarena to make the students familiar with the basic language skills. The Lab offers an opportunity to learn English and to enable the student to get placed in reputed national and global companies. This Lab. is very much helpful in language teaching as well as developing interactive and group communication skills in an effective manner.

Seminar Hall : VSB College of Engineering Technical Campus has a well-equipped Seminar Hall with a capacity to house over 200 people. It helps to organize conferences, carnivals and congregations within the Campus. It is an ideal venue for seminars and conferences. It includes the latest digital sound system with extra woofers, LCD projectors and automated screens in order to cater to the diverse needs of the participants and the presenters.

Hostel : Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls. Tidy rooms and hygienic facilities make for an ideal stay away from home ambience. The hostels also have a recreation hall, multi-gym facility and provision for a variety of indoor games for the students.Students in the hostels have access to everyday conveniences including telephones and enjoy the luxury of watching a film every weekend.The mess facilities in the hostels are designed to meet international hygiene standards. Steam cookers and sterilized equipment are used to prepare wholesome, healthy food.A mineral water plant is operated within the campus and has a well-maintained RO facility. This water is used for cooking, drinking and is available throughout the campus.

Cafeteria : The Cafeteria is located in a spacious block to nourish our students and staff with delicious food. It functions regularly and provides a variety of food and eatables to the taste of all the people at a nominal rate.

Medical Facility : The College ensures that students and staff have easy access to medical facilities at any point of time. There is a Dispensary and a Doctor on call 24X7 to attend to any kind of medical emergency.

Group Insurance Scheme : Our Students are protected with an elaborate insurance cover up to 2.5 lakhs. It protects them from possible accidents and disasters. In addition to the pupils, their parents too come under the insurance net as they are their nominees. Our staff members are also benefited under this scheme.
