St. Peter's University is a Deemed-to-be University established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It was earlier functioning as St. Peter's Engineering College which was established in the year 1992 and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, with all the eligible programmes accredited by NBA AICTE, New Delhi. St. Peter's University is now poised with greater thrust for high quality education and innovating programmes leading to research and development.

Eligibility:

B.E./B.Tech: Pass in 10+2 exam or equivalent with Maths, Physics and Chemistry

B.E./B.Tech (Lateral Entry) (2nd year): Diploma/B.Sc

B.Arch: 10+2 with NATA passing

M.E./M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech

M.Phil/Ph.D: Post Graduate

MBA: Any degree

MCA: Any degree with Maths in 10+2

• Scholarship: 100% of tuition fee securing above 85% marks in 10+2 (PCM) 75% of tuition fee securing 80% marks in 10+2 (PCM)

MCA (Lateral Entry): B.Sc (Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Software Engineering) & BCA.

Integrated Programmes: A Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with maths, physics & chemistry. 

Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can join directly in third semester.
