Eligibility
For B.Tech: A candidate will be eligible for admission to B.Tech. courses on the basis of merit in AIEEE examination, if he / she fulfills the following conditions:
- He / She has passed 10 + 2 examination with pass in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following optional subjects :
- Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science OR
- Candidates who have passed diploma in any branch of Engineering from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh OR having passed Diploma course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal OR having passed from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.
- He/She possesses a good moral character.
- He / She fulfills the conditions mentioned in the Punjab Govt. notification OR incorporated in the Information Brochure of AIEEE.
- He / She fulfills the requirements laid down by the PTU, Jalandhar.
- He / She is a citizen of India.
- The candidate must have appeared in AIEEE.
Admission through lateral entry Scheme (LEET ADMISSION)
A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Tech. course in 2nd year through LEET as per the criteria laid down by the State Govt. of Punjab. A candidate having passed the diploma examination in any stream can seek admission in any B.Tech course.
For MBA: All those candidates who have passed any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline.
For MCA: All those candidates who have passed any recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with Mathematics / Satistics / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques as Compulsory / Optional / additional paper as one of the subjects either at 10+2 or at graduation level OR Have Passed BCA course of minimum 3 years duration from any recognized university.
Facilities
Hostels: We, at Sri Sai Group take special care of all necessary requirements in hostel for the development and growth of a student. We ensure that the child gets the homely feeling, with the best amenities and the desire to study hard more in a friendly atmosphere. Students, who come from all over India, get exposed to different religions and customs therefore a complete finishing school in itself is the core feature of our hostel. Tuning students to the real aspect of life, however letting them enjoy the comforts of reading newspapers and books, providing them nutritious food, safe drinking water, round the clock water supply including water heating systems, etc. gives them a feeling of being at home.
Efficiency of students increases when they get good company and friends. Students usually have a habit of studying together and our spacious rooms provides them a comfortable setup to study. Reducing the burden of daily washing of clothes and vessels, we have in house Laundry system which takes care of washing and ironing. We want our students to manage a home away from home and discipline themselves even in the absence of their parents. Liberal in all means, but strict in the areas of maintaining hygiene, manners and discipline is the core feature at SSGI hostels.

Library: LibraryLibraries are the hub of academic life of the campus. Housed in spacious halls, the Libraries are well stacked with text books, technical journals, periodicals, and reference material for advanced research and development work. The libraries of SSGI Group are high tech, centrally air conditioned and example of the state of the art architecture. The library functions under qualified and experienced librarians and they are assisted by a number of assistant librarians to help the students sort out the books. The daily issue/ return of the books is about 300, besides a large number of CD’s. While the number of books in the library is huge, the reputed journals and standard magazines are in scores. We subscribe to many newspapers and the reference books in our library are uncountable. There is a separate AC room to consult the reference books. Our library contains advance books in all possible subjects besides there are spiritual books, biographies and encyclopedias. The sitting capacity of the library is 150 students and more than 700 students visit the library daily which is a record. The project of complete digitization of Library at SSGI is underway. Our institutes are subscribing to e- journals in good quantity in rder to keep a pace with the concept of most modern e-libraries.
Sports: The competitive Sports & Games are integral part of life of human beings and there is an urgent need to promote sports in a systematic manner. In order to achieve excellence in sports, both at National and International levels, there is a need to adopt a uniform policy so that sports is broad based, sports activities in all the Campuses are well spread over the year, and the competitions are held regularly. The students in the Campuses should get a fair chance to show their mettle; harness talent at grass root level besides providing beneficial recreation and fostering of social harmony and discipline.
Transport Facility: Very cosy, comfortable and convenient transport facility is provide by the management. The Society maintains a fleet of buses to transport the students at affordable expenses who are day scholars and travel to the Campus from Dasuya, Nurpur, Sujanpur, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Dhariwal, Shapurkandi etc. Very cosy, comfortable and convenient transport facility is provide by the management. Class Rooms: All Colleges are unique from the architectural point of view. The buildings are other facilities are backed with modern amenities. The classrooms are fitted with modern gadgets and are well lighted. Audio-visual aids are available in the class rooms for imparting meaningful education.

The leading companies from all sectors are invited by Training & Placement Department at SSGI, where the eligible students are facilitated to go through the entire selection process. The entire process is governed by the student’s ability and performance, as well as the requirements and norms of the Industry. “Choice career for every SSGI student” is the mission of Training & Placement cell of Sri Sai Group and to accomplish this the students undergo Personality Development Programmes in communication and soft skills spanning their complete stay at campus, enhancing vocational skills based on industry trends and establishing close working relationship with leading business organizations. We leverage human capital for competitiveness by nurturing knowledge, entrepreneurship and creativity. We believe it is these strengths that will help us successfully compete globally and exploit emerging opportunities. Placement Support
- Maintaining regular interaction with the industry through Seminars, Guest Lectures, Conferences, Corporate Meets etc.
- Planning and organizing On-Campus as well as Off-Campus recruitment activities.
- Providing assistance to the students for completing summer training projects.
- Providing requisite training to students in the area of Personality Development and Communication Skills.
- Developing database of students and presenting their curriculum to various industries.
- Providing management consultancy for students live projects.
- Organizing Inter-Cultural exchange with other institutions and industries.
The Training and Placement Cell always endeavors to visit industries more frequently to identify and analyze the current manpower requirements of industries. In addition, collaboration with industry in restructuring curriculum from time to time keeping with the changing technologies also takes place. The cell also explores the possibilities of getting consultancy/ project work for our institution through exposition of various talents available in the institution. As a proactive step, the Alumni Association for the college is also contacted to collect the feedback about information user system. SSGI organized series of Mega Job fairs in Academic session 2011-12 in which as many as 20 multinational companies visited the campus for campus requirement. Some of the companies were Wipro Technology, IBM, Infosys, KMG InfoTech, Desired Solution Ltd, Indo Farm Tractors, ICFAI etc.
