Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences is an upcoming pioneer Institution in the field of Medical Care, Education & Research. The Institute has been established by Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust under the guiding principles of Shri Dev Murti, Managing Trustee, to commemorate and advocate the inspiring principles of his father Late Shri Ram Murti Ji - A man with a vision & a man with a mission. Having a successful venture in technical education, SRMS Trust has further entered into another significant segment of education by opening a Medical College under the name and style of Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS). Here also the visionary zeal of the Trust is to serve the society at large by providing not only good professionals but also committed doctors and better citizens who will prove to be an asset to society.

SRMS IMS, offers undergraduate medical education i.e. MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) Programme from academic year 2005-06 with an orientation to internationally recognized standards of excellence. The Institute is dedicated to inculcate values and ethics in student to shoulder the responsibility of taking the country to commanding heights. The Institute is established in an area of 28 Acres of land in sprawling and pollution free environment. It is located on 13.2 Km, Bareilly-Nainital Road, Bareilly. The campus offers healthy atmosphere for teaching, learning, patient care and living.

Eligibility:

For MBBS: 10+2 (PCB) with minimum 60% marks.

Fee Structure: Fee is charged as per the order of Hon'ble High Court. Fee is to be paid by demand draft drawn in favor of SRMS IMS Payable at Bareilly.

For MD/MS: MBBS

Annual Fee Structure for Pre, Para, Clinical Subjects (Academic Session 2015-2016) is as follows:-

• Tuition Fee: 10,50,000/- Per Annum 
• Registration Fee & Other Fee: 25,000/- Per Annum 
• Hostel Fee(Family Hostel - F Block) with AC*: 125,000/- Per Annum + Electricity Charges 
• Hostel Fee(Single Room Hostel) with AC*: 101,000/- Per Annum + Electricity Charges 
• *Fooding Charges Not Included.
• Security Money(One Time, Refundable): 1,50,000/- 

*College Development & Student Welfare Extra   

Trust Scholarship will be given to selected candidates in following Departments as follows:-

• Anatomy: 7,00,000/- Per Annum 
• Physiology: 7,00,000/- Per Annum 
• Biochemistry: 5,00,000/- Per Annum

Admission Procedure: for PG through UP post graduate medical entrance test (UPPGMET) and for MBBS through UP combined medical entrance test (UPCMET) Conducted by UP unaided medical colleges’ welfare association to be held on 13th May 2016 respectively. 

For IDCCM:

• Diploma in Anaesthesia/Chest diseases/Orthopaedics
• MD or DNB Medicine/Chest/Anaesthesia
• MS General Surgery/Orthopaedics

Duration: 1 year for MD/MS/DNB Candidates and 2 years for DA/DTCD or equivalent Candidate

For Post MBBS Certificate in Critical Care:

MBBS or equivalent Allopathic Medical degree with valid MCI registration.
