The NIT Sikkim is located at Ravangla Sub-Division. The nearest airport to reach NIT Sikkim is Bagdogra and nearest railway station is New Jalpaigudi (NJP). From airport/railway station one has to reach SNT Bus Stand near Siliguri Junction. At the Bus Stand there are various transportation facilities available. From Ravangla market the campus is approximately 3 KM away. National Institute of Technology, Sikkim is one among the ten newly sanctioned NITS by the Government of India in 2009 under the 11th Five year Plan. It is being established in the Barfung Block, Ravangala Sub Division of South Sikkim. It is managed by the NIT Sikkim Society registered under the Societies Act. Institute is fully funded by Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

B.Tech : The Candidate must passed class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

M.Tech :  Minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5 (out of 10) in B. Tech (CSE/IT/ECE/EEE)

Course Fee : 1 in Lakh(s) Per Annum
