Mahatma Gandhi Mission is a charitable trust, registered under the society’s Registration Act. (1960) on 20th Dec. 1982, with its prime objective of Social welfare, Human Resource Development, Medical Care, Education, Forestry & Environment, Mass Communication, Sports & Fine Art. The founders are a group of Engineers, Doctors & Scientists having a high career profile, commitment to social interest & dedication to work. Lead by the Chairman, Shri. Kamalkishore Kadam, Ex-minister of Education, Maharashtra state, an engineer himself having masters degree from IIT, Mumbai, Mahatma Gandhi Mission has achieved unprecedented growth & occupied a prestigious niche in the society with quality education & the discipline in the institutes run by it. To accelerate the educational aspirations of our youth, MGM has started two Medical Colleges at Aurangabad & Mumbai & 4 Engineering Colleges at Aurangabad, Nanded, Mumbai & Noida. Eligibility:

For B.Tech:

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to 1st year of different courses shall be as under:-

B.Tech.             Physics & Mathematics        Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology

                                                                               / Technical Vocational subject

For admission to 1st year of B. Tech., candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University & securing minimum 45% marks (40% Marks for SC / ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as per given above.

For Direct Admission to 1st year: Vacant seats after counselling of UPSEE 2015 shall be filled strictly in following preference order:-

• The qualified candidates of UPSEE 2015, who fulfil`the eligibility as per clause 3.1. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE 2015.
• The qualified candidates of JEE-MAINS-2015 fulfilling the eligibility as per clause 3.1. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in respective entrance examinations.
• The merit of candidates in qualifying (10+2) examination with the following conditions:
• For admission to first year of B. Tech., Candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% marks in total of required subject combination (two compulsory & one optional) taken together. The candidate is essentially required to pass without any grace marks (as per respective Board / University) in each subject of the subject group indicated in (clause 3.1 (i)) The relative merit shall be decided based on total marks in subject combination (clause 3.1 (i)) of qualifying examination.

For Direct Admission (Lateral Entry) to 2nd year in B.Tech.:

• The qualified candidates of UPSEE 2015, who fulfill the eligibility as per clause 3.3. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE 2015.
• Candidates who have passed 3 years Engineering Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% (40% for SC / ST) marks or whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh & he / she passed 3 years Engineering Diploma with minimum 45% (40% for SC / ST) marks recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy & Architecture), are eligible for admission to 2nd year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.
• Candidates who have passed ‘3 years B.Sc. degree & passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject' from any recognized University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to 2nd year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.
• Thereafter, the vacant seats, if any, will be filled on merit by such candidates who have passed the qualifying examination securing minimum 50% (45% for SC / ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks.

Admission Procedure:

For B.Tech: Admission to 85% seats of the institute is made on the basis of UPSEE 2015 conducted by a body duly constituted by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow. For admission in vacant seats candidate has to fill up a registration form which is available in the institute. After registration, it is the candidate’s responsibility to gather further information from college website (www.coet.in)/ College admission Notice board / Admission Cell. The college is not responsible if the information is not collected by the candidate on time.
