The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Bhambholi, Yamunanagar, is an Autonomous Institute jointly sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Department of Tourism, Government of Haryana. It is a society registered under Society of Registration Act with District Registrar of Firms & Societies, Yamunanagar. Its first academic session will commence from July 2015. Bhamboli is located 40 kms away from Ambala cantt and 08 kms from jagadhari bus stand on national highway no, 73. Yamunanagar is a right place for Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, for dissemination knowledge, attitude and professional skill to its students, opting admissions in Degree / Diploma Programs. The facilities and amenities have been created adhering to accredited norms of National Council for Hotel Management in respect to building planning, staffing, equipment requirements, and infrastructure facilities; for creating a model Hotel Management Institute in the country.

The Institute is fully equipped with appropriate laboratories and classrooms for students to acquire the required skill standards in the Degree & Diploma Programs. Institute is also equipped with well-appointed & well-equipped labs, classrooms, guest rooms, library etc for dissimilation knowledge, attitude & skill to the students. Faculties are qualified who specialize in dissemination of knowledge in their respective fields of expertise. The Institute is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, A-34, Sector 62, NOIDA - 201 301 (www.nchmct.org). NCHM&CT is the apex formation in the country for educational & professional training in Hospitality Management and Operation.

Scholarship: Scholarship is provided to eligible SC / ST / BC candidates under Govt. of India Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.

Eligibility:

For B.Sc (HHA):

• The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject.
• Age limit is 22 years for General / PH and 25 years for SC / ST candidates as on 1st July. In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years.
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can appear in JEE for being considered on provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the concerned Institute.

Admission will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents to be produced by the candidates. Decision of NCHM&CT regarding the eligibility shall be final. Even after admission to the Institute if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of supplying false information of false testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his / her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited.

For Diploma:

• The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject.
• Age limit is 25 years for General / PH and 28 years for SC / BC candidates as on 1st July 2015.
• Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / Pre-University Certificate is the only authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of interview, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission.

Admission will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents to be produced by the candidates. Decision of Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Yamunanagar regarding the eligibility shall be final. Even after admission to the Institute if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of supplying false information of false testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his / her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited.
