 Eligibility:

For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed intermediate exam without any grace marks of U.P. Board or 10 + 2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject; & anyone of Chemistry / Bio – Technology / Biology /  Technical Vocational as optional subject.

For M.Tech: Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Admissions are made as per the guidelines by the U.P. State Govt. & U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. The university issues notification for counselling & invites applications from the students. The university provides the detailed instructions / information through the notification.

For M.C.A. / M.B.A.: Candidates must have passed 3 years Bachelor degree course without any grace marks from any recognized university. Candidate must have passed mathematics at 10 + 2 level.

Admission Procedure:

For B.Ed.: Admission to B.Ed. is made through State Entrance Examination conducted by the U.P. Government / University / State Government / NCTE norms.

For B.B.A.: Candidate must have qualified 10 + 2 / Intermediate in any stream with 50% marks.

Facilities:

Library: Library information services play crucial role in learning & teaching activities & provide the opportunity for individual reading. The institute has a well - equipped library with sufficient seating capacity. It has meticulously chosen 36,000 books of Indian as well as foreign origin with approximately 5000 titles. It has an elaborate collection of national & international journals on various aspects of engineering, management & related subjects which assist in disseminating information & updating knowledge. The Hi - Tech Library is redesigned & renovated to fulfil the advanced needs of students. It has exclusive sections like Self - Study Section: Study & prepare for tests, assignments & projects. Internet Section: Housed with computers having access to internet & spare electricity points for connecting laptops. Students can prepare their presentations & project work. Discussion Room: It is a place dedicated to group discussions & presentation rehearsals. Common Room: Free place for students to chat & discuss. Digital Library: It is equipped with latest facilities to provide e - journals, e - books. Apart from this HIET Library is banked with books of latest editions to meet the syllabus requirement. The institute is well connected with other libraries so that students may avail benefit from other libraries as well.

Hostel: Separate hostel facility is available for junior & senior students. Each hostel has its separate mess with well equipped kitchen & dining area providing hygienic, nutritious & wholesome meals. The hostel rooms are well furnished with the provision of furniture, almirahs, curtains & bedding. The hostels have adequate power back up & water heating system for availability of hot water during winters. Separate gymnasium, TV room, library with magazines & fiction / general reading books, playgrounds & recreation room with a variety of indoor games are available in each hostel. The hostels are provided with round the clock security. Canteen & provision store for availability of items of daily requirements are provided in each hostel. Each hostel is managed by its own resident warden.

Placements:

Our placement process begins from the 2nd year for students enrolled in B.Tech. Programme & from 1st year for students enrolled in Master's programs. We begin by grooming & preparing them for placements. The activities that take places are:
