GTBKIET is one of the institution aimed to function as a pace setter for technical education in the country and to faster national integration. Nestled amidst green, pollution free environment, the institute is located about 350 Km North West of Delhi and about 50 Km from Bathinda on the outskirts of Malout-Ganganagar route overlooking the great grand trunk road. The campus is spread over an area of 60 acres of land comprising of various architecturally well planned and aesthetically designed blocks.

GTBKIET was founded in 1997 by “GTB Educational Trust Malout” . All the courses of the institute are approved by AICTE Delhi Govt. of India. Department of the Technical Education and are affiliated to Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. In the span of fourteen years the institute has developed into a leading engineering and professional college of the region with state of the art infrastructure faculty and facilities. Performing well in University Exams and student are all set to perform for placement of its student in reputed national /International industries and universities of its first batch. The instate is committed to excel in areas of engineering technology and management by enhancing its facilities and highly qualified and committed faculty drawn from academic institutions of repute and senior professionals from industry as well .the instate benchmark against top engineering college's in India. GTBKIET Chhapianwali does this by educating individuals for fulfilling productive lives and by creating solutions to pressing or anticipated problems through research.

Facilities

Library: Library are the backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic institution. The GTB has an excellent well-equipped air conditioned libraries in various institutes. Which are equipped with more than 27000 volumes and is subscribing to more than 60 National/ International journals apart from popular magazines and news papers. It works on open access system. The library services at GTB are provided to students & staff members for updating their knowledge and supporting the research and teaching learning activities.

The air-conditioned reading rooms with capacity to accommodate 500 students at a time and remains open for 24 hours. The library is the member of DELNET (Developing Library Network). The faculty and students borrow books, Journals and other reading material as an inter library loan facility from DELNET. The staff of the library department is well qualified and has the spirit of "work with smile"

Hostel: To justify our moto-"Home away from Home" that too at cheaper rates, separate girls & boys hostels are integral part of GTB campus, which is nurtured amidst pollution free environment & bestowed with state of the art facilities in respect of food & furnished etc. To bless the inhabitants of hostel with round the clock monitoring & help, Staff functionaries are residing in most appropriate staff quarters. which has offered a different exposure to resident staff.

Computer Center; GTB provides an ample computing facilities to the students. There is a centralized Computer lab with a thirty node network as well Internet access facility. Other than the lab, there are computing and Internet access facilities available in the departments as well as in the library. It's the hub of computer activity for the enthusiastic students, apart from the curriculum, they explore the world of computer in a high way. The campus has upgrade itself as a WIRELESS CAMPUS by implementing Wi- Fi technology i.e. students and staff can access the complete network and browse Internet sitting anywhere in the campus by using LAPTOPS & Smart Phones.

Transportation: GTB Group has a full fledged transport cell. Students and staff are provided with college bus facility from nearby areas like Malout, Abohar, Bathinda, Dabwali, Fazilka, Giddarbaha, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Hanumangarh, Sadulshaher at nominal rates.

Stationery Store: A stationery store catering the stationery needs of staff and students is available in every Institute. The Store also provides xeroxing facility to facilities the students for copying their notes, courses, Materials, Books etc
