The institute was established in 2007 by Rafiq Ahmed Memorial Trust with the objective of creating a centre of excellence in the field of professional education at Northern India. Inspired & motivated by the words of Hon'ble former President Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, "Education is the prime mover of prosperity" & philanthropic urge of the trustees, DNS College of Engineering & Technology was started in 2007 as the 1st engineering college under the Rafiq Ahmed Memorial Trust with a determination to nurture talents in the fields of Engineering Technology & Management. The Colleges is approved by AICTE & affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly UP, Board of Technical Education Lucknow UP & NCTE. The emergence of DNS in U.P. is the fruit of an extensive effort to bring about a significant & practical application of technical education. Quality education has always been a necessity for socio & eco - friendly economic growth & recognizing this while striving to fulfil it is what DNS aims at.
