Dr. Patangrao Kadam the founder of Bharati Vidyapeeth is a man of vision. Realizing the increasing need of engineering in the society & industry, he established Bharati Vidyapeeeth's College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai in 1990. Since its establishment the college has grown to become one of the leading Engineering Education Institution in Navi Mumbai. Thanks to Honorable Dr. Patangrao Kadam's commitment to quality education & dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. MZ Shaikh the College has achieved the pinnacle of academic glory. In a span of 16 years the College has gained appreciation because of excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratory facilities, qualified faculty & hence the outstanding results of students. The College is planning to get accreditation by NBA. The College offers 4 years UG Programmes leading to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degree of University of Mumbai & 2 years PG Programmes (only Computer Branch) leading to Master of Engineering (ME) Degree of University of Mumbai.

 

The College is affiliated to University of Mumbai & the courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi, which is apex body controlling technical education in the country. The college is located in the sprawling Bharati Vidyapeeth campus extending more than 5 acres at Sector - 07, Belpada, CBD. (Belapur) Navi Mumbai. It is on the lap of nature, surrounded by picturesque green Parsik Hills & in the midst of a quiet residential area. It is very close to Kharghar railway station on Harbor line, Sion - Panvel highway & hence is well connected by rail & road to Mumbai, Thane & other places. The proximity of the college too many industries in the Thane - Belapur belt, Rasayani, Taloja MIDC etc. helps the students in training & placements & facilitates Industry - Institute interactions. Adequacy of space is a priority to the successful conduct of any academic programme. The 3 storied Colleges building has an area of over 19,768 square meter exclusively meant for administrative & academic activities of engineering courses. This, more than fulfils the norms laid down by AICTE & regulatory bodies.
