Eligibility

For B.Tech: The minimum academic qualification for admission to B. Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non Creamy layer)” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE).

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry):

• The candidate should have passed Diploma with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates of Rajasthan) or the candidate should have Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with mathematics as a subject with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates of Rajasthan). The marks obtained to award the division in Diploma/Degree will be considered for deciding the eligibility and respective merit. Admission to the candidates will be given as per the following order of preference
• Candidates having passed Diploma from Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur/ Universities in Rajasthan
• Bona-fide residents of Rajasthan (on submission of Certificate from competent authorities) having either passed diploma from institutions located in Rajasthan and considered equivalent by Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur or from Board of Technical Education in other States.
• Candidates not covered in (2) above having passed Diploma from other State Boards of Technical Education.
• Candidates having passed B.Sc. (with Mathematics) from Universities in Rajasthan.

For M.Tech: The academic requirements for admission in M. Tech course is as per ordinance of M.Tech by RTU, Kota.

For MBA:  A student graduating in any discipline with 50% marks is eligible to get admission as per ordinance of RTU, Kota.

For MCA: The student graduating in any discipline with 50% marks and studied mathematics at 10 +2 or +3 level is eligible to get admission in MCA as per RTU Ordinance.

Admission Procedure

For B.Tech: Admissions to the B. Tech courses is done through counseling done on the basis of rank scored in JEE (Mains) which is conducted annually by Central Board of  Secondary Education, New Delhi. Presently available seats for admission in various branches.

For M.Tech: Admissions to the M. Tech course are done directly on the basis of merit. GATE qualified candidate are preferred.

For MBA: Admissions to the MBA course is done through councelling done on the basis of rank scored in Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) which is conducted annually by AICTE.

For MCA: Admissions to the MCA course is done through counseling done on the basis of rank scored in Rajasthan MCA Admission Test (RMCAAT) which is conducted annually.
