Vidya Bharati School: Owes its origin to the vision of its founders comprising eminent educationists, administrators and distinguished persons residing in the colonies located on Delhi-UP border. With a humble beginning on 23rd July 1983 in a rented building, the school has over the years grown as a well reputed higher secondary school in its own building spread over an area of 4.24 acres. The school is centrally located in C-block, Surya Nagar and is run by Surya Nagar Educational Society (Regd.), a non-profit body committed to the cause of imparting high quality education at minimum possible cost. The Surya Nagar Educational Society is committed to the propagation of traditional values in the context of India’s rich cultural heritage and blending the same with the modern concepts.
The school has its own huge building with well-furnished Administrative Block, Visitors' lobby, well electrified and ventilated class rooms, separate toilet facilities for boys and girls in each block (A, B and C) modern Computer laboratories both for senior and junior sections, well developed Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories and a rich library with stock of wide-ranging books on different subjects, magazines, journals and periodicals. The school has both indoor and outdoor games facilities including gymnastics. There are football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton and other sports facilities on our spacious playground. The school is among the best in Trans-Yamuna area and caters to the educational requirement of children living in colonies located on U.P. - Delhi border such as Rampuri,Ramprastha, Surya Nagar, Chandra Nagar, Brij Vihar, Noida, Kaushambi, Vasundhara, Vaishali, Maharajpur and the colonies of east Delhi, Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, etc. The school is set to attain new heights of excellence in the existing and the expanding new areas of academic, co-curricular and pedagogical aspects of the school.
Admission:
Admissions are open to all students seeking admission in the school on the basis of admission test that is conducted from time to time. Time, Venue and Date for these tests can be inquired from the reception or from the office of Principal on all working days. As a policy matter the school does not encourage admission in X and XII. At senior level in class XI admissions are taken both on the basis of written test as well as on the basis of marks the candidates have obtained in the board examination. Admissions are offered in three streams that is Science, Commerce and Humanities. As per the policy of Government admissions in Nursery & KG classes of the school are offered without any interview / written test of the children. Play way method is used to interact with the children in these classes.
