The Sarala Birla Academy, an English medium boys’ residential school (grade V – XII), is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi for ICSE and ISC, the Cambridge International Examinations for IGCSE and the IBO, Geneva for the IB Diploma Programme. Sprawling over 67 acres of lush greenery, it offers and excellent infrastructure and a committed faculty for all round, quality education. Admissions for the academic year 2012-13 are now open for the following grades:

Grade V, VI, VII and VIII

Grade IX: ICSE AND IGCSE (Cambridge International Examinations)

Grade XI: ISC (Science and Commerce streams) and the IB Diploma Programme

The admission procedure:

• Admission will be granted in grades V,VI,VII,VIII, IX and XI
• The registration fees are Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only)
• Test centres: Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore
• Every child will have to appear for the entrance exam followed by an interview to complete the prerequisites for admission. The registration form can be obtained from the school on request.
• The admission test will examine your child's practical skills and proficiency in English and Mathematics.
• The written test will have a weightage of 70 per cent and the interview 30 per cent
• A three-member committee, led by the principal will interview the candidates who qualify in the written test.
