The school is basically divided into an academic block and hostel buildings inter-spersed with landscaped lawns and playing fields. The academic block is a two storeyed structure; its spacious classrooms have been designed to optimize natural light and ventilation. Specially designed, modern, ergonomic furniture ensures that pupils do not suffer fatigue.

The school has five hostel blocks. Each hostel block is a two storeyed structure divided into dormitories, residential flats, common rooms and a study room for students? They accommodate the students, the house masters, tutors, the ward boys / the ayahs.

ACADEMIC YEAR The B. K. Birla Centre for Education has structured its holiday calendar keeping in mind the convenience of parents in remote location. It enjoys two long vacations.

The admissions process is designed to enroll students of the highest promise, while assuring a wide diversity of background and aptitudes within the student body. A registration form is included in the prospectus. Registration for admission opens in January. Filling the registration form does not guarantee admission, nor is the registration fee refundable. Applicants are required to appear for an admission test (in English, Mathematics, Second Language and General Knowledge), the date and venue of which will be communicated at the time of registration. Selected candidates must produce Transfer Certificates from the school last attended at the time of admission.

Admission Open for Classes IV Std. to IX Std. (Depending upon the Vacancy). Register Your Ward (S) For the Academic year 2014-2015

Admissions are open from classes IV to IX and XI. Except for class IV, which is the entry point, admissions for other classes are made available subject to the possible vacancies due to withdrawals. For classes other than class IV, parents may register their students at their own risk.

First Term

• From October to March.
