Educational Testing Service (ETS), the creator of the TOEFL test, announced TOEFL Scholarship Program 2012 recognizing academic excellence. The 2012 TOEFL Scholarship Program will issue awards valued at approximately US$ 70,000, an increase of US$ 10,000 in award funding over the 2011 TOEFL Scholarship Program. The scholarship can help you to study at any of the 8000+ institutions which are named in the TOEFL destinations. This scholarship is presently available for all Indian students who want to study abroad. A total of ten scholarships of up to US$ 70,000 will be awarded to Indian students for their academic excellence. Four scholarships of $ 10,000 are available for one college/university in UK, USA, Canada and Australia. It is also offering six scholarships of $ 5, 000 for other locations. The last date to apply for this TOEFL 2012 scholarship is 13th April, 2012.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
All students who are natives of India and want to apply to foreign university for their graduate or post graduate courses are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicant must hold a grade point average (GPA) of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale or 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scales and have a valid TOEFL score.
