Interview Tips

A lot of factors are involved in the job selection process. Perhaps the most crucial part is the face-to-face session - the interview. An interview gives you the opportunity to showcase your qualifications to an employer, so it pays to be well prepared Because it's a one-off, no-second-chances-situation, it's vital you're at your best in the interview. When you are invited to an interview it means that whether you are qualified for the job position, motivated to do the job and to find if you are the right fit for the applied position. you will be judged on the basis of your academic background, family background, and interests, your previous experience, even if it is part-time, is noticed.Mention projects or responsibilities you may have undertaken. This will help the interviewer to know whether you can be punctual and put in full-time work.

Points To be Noted:-

  1. Be On time, Confirm the location and timing for the interview. Plan to arrive on time or even a few minutes early. It is best if you arrive about 15 minutes early. This will give you time to relax and fill out an application, if necessary.

  2. Dress appropriately to match the company culture.Greet your interviewer with a smile and firm handshake. An eye contact spells your confidence because first impression is last impression.

  3. Be prepared for all the typical questions, such as "tell me about yourself" and "why are you looking for a new position?" “Whats Your Salary Expectation?” “Why Should we employ you?”  How well you speak will have a bigger impact than what you say. If you've worked before, talk about what you learned from it

  4. Don’t bad mouth previous positions, companies or employers. No matter how well founded, this implies a negative attitude. So don’t leave any negative Impact.

  5. Stay alert during the job interview. The energy level must be as high for the last as it is for the first.

  6. Listen carefully to the questions asked. Ask the interviewer to restate a question if you are confused.Answer questions properly - even if you need a few moments' silence to collect your thoughts

  7. With confidence, be able to demonstrate how you have overcome obstacles but always remember that There’s a fine line between being confident and over confident.

  8. Research the company as much as you can through annual reports, Newspapers, but the updated not outdated.

  9. Do not chew gum or smoke.

  10. Make sure your cell phone ringer is turned off.

  11. Interviews can be a nervous experience but rubbing your chin, twirling your hair, or anything else along those lines makes you look like you're lying or lacking confidence, both not good.

  12. At the end of the interview, Don’t forget to thank the interviewers for their time and Shake hands with smile in closing.

Documents Required

  1. Copies of your Updated resumes.
