Eligibility:

For B.Tech: All those candidates who have passed the +2 Examination with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ computer Science or the candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh or Sant longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal or such Examination from any other recognized State board of technical education.

• On the basis of merit of AIEEE conducted by CBSE
• 33% Management Quota seats on the basis of AIEEE/10+2 Examination
• He/She should be a citizen of India.

For B.Sc:

• Agriculture: 40 % aggregate in science (+2 Medical/Non-medical)
• Non Medical: 40% in +2 (Science with Maths)

For BBA:

• 10+2 in any stream.
• All seats are filled directly by institute on the basis of Merit of 10+2 exam.

For BCA:

• 10+2 or equivalent degree in any stream.
• All seats are filled directly by institute on the basis of Merit of 10+2 exam.

For B.Ed: Candidate should have passed graduation in any stream.

For B.A: 35 % aggregate in any stream

For B.Com: 40% in +2 Commerce, 45% In +2 Humanities, 50% In Any Other Stream

For MBA:

• Bachelor degree in any stream i.e. BA, B.Com, B.Sc, and B.E. from a recognized university.
• Those awaiting results of Degree examinations may also apply. If proof of graduation is not submitted within the date prescribed by PTU, their admission will be automatically cancelled without refund of fees.
• Two third of the total seats to be filled through the PTU counselling & one third seats to be filled by the management out of the management quota.

        The ultimate merit shall be made on the basis of aggregate of :

1. Test score
2. Percentage in graduation
3. Performance in GD/PI

For M.Sc:

• Botany: 50% in Graduation (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry/ Life Sciences).
• Chemistry: 50% in Graduation (Elective Chemistry).

For M.Tech: B.Tech with at least 55% marks or AMIE (Associate Mamber of Institute of Engineers) with at least 55% marks.

For M.Ed: Candidate should have passed B.Ed./ Post graduation degree in any stream.

For Diploma in Engg:

• Candidates should have passed the 10th with Maths, Science & English as the Compulsory subjects.
• The admission to the open seats is made though Joint Entrance Test (JET) conducted by PSBTE & IT, Chandigarh.
• 33% Management quota seats on the basis of JET & Class 10th marks will be filled by College directly.

For Diploma in ETT:  Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (any stream) or equivalent or relevant higher qualification. (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories). Reservation of various categories in the seats to be filled in this college as prescribed by the Punjab Government.
