Welcome to State institute of hotel management catering technology & applied nutrition, SIHMCT&AN Tirupati. Hospitality and tourism industry in the country has been showing continued growth and prosperity due to ever increasing inflow of business and leisure travelers. The continued growth of tourism sector, which involves wide varieties of activities, the two most important areas being hospitality and travel trade, providing a large spectrum of employment opportunities. We work and train man power on the vision ‘‘Atithi Devo Bhava’’ and our mission is providing quality education, especially focused on current developments, innovations, professionalism to all those students who wanted to build their career and to enter in to global competitive hospitality industry. Our Motto is to promote trained and skilled man power to the hotel and catering industry in both public and private sector nationally and internationally.

 

State institute of hotel management catering technology & applied nutrition, Tirupati started in the year 2009 august on lease premises in s.v. govt polytechnic campus. Sponsored by Dept. of Tourism, Govt. Of A.P. Tourism an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of tourism, Govt of India. Affiliated to national council for hotel management and catering technology NCHMCT. SIHM Tirupati has successfully completed its first academic session from 2010 to 2011 of craft course in food production with placements. SIHM Tirupati with a campus spanning 5acres near Alipiri was started in 15th September 2013, including state of art practical laboratories, spacious class rooms, internet lab, well stocked library, separate hostels for male and female students, recreating eco- friendly atmosphere.
