To keep pace with development and progress in the technical field, Technical institute should not only maintain a close linkage with the industries to respond to their urgent needs for development of human resources but also be prepared for future development keeping in view indigenous exploits of natural talents and resources, The rapid industrialization of our country in this new era has necessitated multiplication of the facilities for technical education. This phenomenon led to the foundation of “Siwan Engineering &Technical institute, Siwan on 19th nov. 2000 which was inaugurated by the people of Siwan under the chairmanship of Dr. Md. Shahbuddin the honorable the then Member of Parliament Siwan. Siwan Engineering & Technical institute siwan is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Recognized by Govt. of Bihar now Affilliated to J.P university, Chapra. Right now the institute is running courses of five branches in B. tech degree namely Electronics &Comm. Engineering, mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and civil Engineering along with Master of Business Administration (MBA).
