Shree Ganpati Institute of Technology (SGIT) spread over 20 acres of lush green campus under the aegis of Shree Ganpati Education Society has carved its niche just within a decade. It was established in the year of 2005. Today it is considered a centre of excellence for those aspiring to undertake higher studies in the domains of Technology, Pharmacy, Management & Architecture. SGIT runs Diploma, Graduate & Post Graduates level Engineering, Management, Pharmacy & Architecture programmes. Eligibility:

For B.B.A.:

• 10 + 2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate & must have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
• Duration = 3 years degree programme
• Intake = 120 seats

For B.Pharmacy:

• Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (any one subject) & English with minimum 50% marks in PCM / PCB & should be clear pass (No grace).
• Duration = 4 years degree programme
• Intake = 100 seats

For B.Pharmacy 2nd year (Lateral Entry): Candidates who have passed 2 / 3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST).

For M.Pharmacy:

• Candidates who have passed B.Pharmacy with 60% marks. GPAT Qualified candidates are preferred.
• Duration = 2 years degree programme
• Intake = 15 seats

Admission Procedure:

For B.B.A.: The admissions are carried out strictly on merit basis through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The University conducts central counselling for all the colleges affiliated with it for 90% seats except for management quota seats. Students are required to choose the college / institute during the counselling. For application forms the students are respond to the advertisement by the University or its website http://www.ggsipu.nic.in or http://www.ipu.ac.in.

Placements:

We have very active Training & Placement cell which continuously get in touch with HR heads from various industries & organized campus placement regularly. Off & on campus placement drive is organized from time to time & so far we have good placement percentage. This cell also assists students in honing up their skills to make them employable. To provide on the job experiences, various industrial visits are organized for the students of SGIT. Industry visits are an integral facet of SGIT learning model. The variants of deeply institutionalized practice enable the students to gain a deeper understanding of classroom teaching & gain practical exposure in real time. Industrial visits provide students opportunities to meet company’s senior officials & staff at common place & gather all possible information regarding the functioning of their organization. SGIT organizes Expert lectures, Trainings, Workshops, Seminars for students in the campus at regular intervals in coordination with various departments. Such activities help familiarize students & faculty members with the state of art industry practices & their correlation with the textbook material. These activities also familiarize the students with about the changes happening in various industries & how to reorient their learning process.
