PES was established in 1972 at Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. PES is focused on four main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management and Life Sciences. The institutions offer both foundation courses in these areas, as well as specialization with a Bachelors/ Master/ PhD Degree. For BE: 40% of the Seats are reserved for CET Candidates

In the remaining 60% of the seats, the order or selection is as follows:

• First Preference will be given to PESSAT Test Scores
• Second Preference will be given to COMED-K Test Scores (Fee Structure will follow PES University guidelines)
• Third Preference - Other National Level Entrance exams Test Scores

For BBA/ BBA-HEM: 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board

For B.Des: 60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board

Mode of Admission: PESSAT and UCEED conducted by IIT Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development for B.Des 100% of the seats will be filled by PES University Selection will be based on performance in 10+2/12th grade/2nd PUC, PESSAT and UCEED scores (for B.Des).

For B.Arch: 60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in science stream from a recognized board

Mode of Admission:NATA conducted by Council of Architecture 40% of seats given to KCET

In the remaining 60% of the seats, the order or selection is as follows:

• First Preference will be given to PESSAT Test Scores
• Second Preference will be given to KCET Scores
• Third Preference - Other National Level Entrance exams Test Scores

For MCA: Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University

Mode of Admission: PESSAT and PGCET 40% of seats given to PGCET

In the remaining 60% of the seats, the order or selection is as follows:

• First Preference will be given to PESSAT Test Scores
• Second Preference will be given to PGCET/KMAT Test Scores
• Third Preference - Other National Level Entrance exams Test Scores

For MBA: Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University

Mode of Admission: PESSAT, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE 40% of seats given to PGCET

In the remaining 60% of the seats, the order or selection is as follows:

• First Preference will be given to PESSAT Test Scores

For MTech: Engineering degree in a relevant stream from a recognized University

Facilities:

Library: The libraries at PES occupy over 50,000 square feet and provide students with access to a vast repository of resources, including books and periodicals. These peaceful, sun-lit areas provide ideal study spaces. Our libraries remain open until midnight on all days. During the examinations, they are open 24 hours. Completely automated library management systems make it possible to borrow books at any time of the day or night, copies ensure that resources are easily available for reference in the library. Trained staff is always at hand to assist students. In addition to these resources, faculty members dynamically upload all their lecture and research notes on the PES Intranet. These are available to the students with the simple keying in of a password.

Computing: Technology is fast becoming ubiquitous and the educational environment is no exception. We strive to make learning more creative, interactive and information driven by using sophisticated delivery techniques. At PES, 40 different computer laboratories across the campuses house over a thousand computers for use by students and staff are available to meet project requirements and and encourage research activities. We have 10 MBPS (1:1) bandwidth dedicated line with 24 hours internet connectivity (Wi-Fi enabled). The local internet, 1000 MBPS switched network, provides an interactive platform for sharing resources and building communities.
